The Herbaceous Committee meeting at the London Plant Fair last year presented four varieties from our Primula Belarina Series with the RHS Award of Merit.
‘Buttercup’ (a very free flowering, bright early yellow rosette, with a compact habit and soft fragrance); ‘Nectarine’ (a compact and free flowering Belarina with taller flower stems and a deep yellow tinged pink edge appearance); ‘Snow’ (a very beautiful pure white, later flowering Belarina) and ‘Valentine’ (An intense red with a slight fragrance) all received the RHS award of merit, an award we were very pleased with.
The specimens put before the committee were also given an RHS Cultural Commendation for being so well grown.
